Hugh Milne

Business Recovery & Insolvency

Hugh commenced in insolvency in 1987.  After a three year break in industry from 1993 to 1996 he resumed his insolvency career and has gained experience in all facets of business recovery.

In 2005 Hugh was seconded to the Australian Securities & Investments Commission's ("ASIC") insolvent trading program.  He undertook surveillance assignments for ASIC focusing on directors’ knowledge of and compliance with their duties to prevent insolvent trading.

Hugh is active in professional affairs.  Since 2001 Hugh has been the Secretary of the CPA Australia Insolvency & Reconstruction Discussion Group.  He has acted as a facilitator for the Institute of Chartered Accountants CA program and was a speaker at the 2007 Australian Institute of Credit Management Annual Conference.
